What type of leather do we use?
We use all vegetable tanned leathers, tanned in Europe. Hides originate from France. One can find out more about our leather here.
How do I clean and care for my Clegg?
Think of leather as you would your own skin; when it gets dry, apply a moisturizer. For our bags, we recommend our leather lotion, which can be found here.
We also offer in-house repair services for authentic Frank Clegg products that have been damaged or simply need a freshening-up after years of use.
How do I request leather swatches?
Having trouble picking out a color? Or can’t decide which type of leather you like best? Request our leather swatches here.
We also carry a limited selection of exotics, such as alligator, python, ostrich, and lizard. Due to the exclusivity of these specialty leathers, swatches are available for a fee. Click here to contact us and find out more.

Who designs all the products?

Is everything really made in the USA?
Yes, every Frank Clegg product is really made here in our Fall River, MA workshop using the finest materials sourced from around the globe. Click here to learn more about our workshop and process.
Do we make everything in our own factory?

How long does it take for a Clegg to be made?
If we do not have an item in stock and it needs to be handcrafted, our production lead time is about two - five weeks, which can vary depending on workflow. Please contact us here to find out what we have available
Is there a warranty on our products?
Yes, there is a lifetime guarantee on our craftsmanship. Here at Frank Clegg, we guarantee that our products are built to last. Should anything happen to your Clegg we will do our best to accommodate your situation. Any hardware related issues will be assessed individually to determine if there is an associated cost.
Do we do any custom work?
Not at this time, however, we do our best to accommodate certain modifications upon request. Please know that any work falling under this category may be subject to an additional charge and extended production lead time. Is value added tax (VAT) included in the cost?
All costs on our site do not include Value Added Tax (VAT) and/or Goods & Sales Tax (GST) rates.
Do you offer free shipping and returns?
Yes, we do offer free domestic shipping on orders over $150.00 and free international shipping on orders over $250.00. Click here for more information about our shipping policy.

How do I track my order?
Once your order is complete and ready to ship, you will receive a confirmation email from us with the tracking information. You can check the status of your order by visiting FedEx.com using your tracking number.
What happens if my package is lost?
Once your shipment is in transit with Federal Express, Frank Clegg Leatherworks is no longer responsible for the circumstance of any packages. Upon notification that the package is lost, a claim would need to be made with Federal Express. Also note that any notification stating delivered, and you believe your package to be lost, a claim must still be made through Federal Express. If you wish to ensure your package people contact customer support here.
